A LARGE vehicle was on fire near Droitwich.
The engine compartment of a combine harvester was on fire on the land near the A4133 at Westwood, near Droitwich.
Two Droitwich Fire Station crews attended the scene at 6.47pm on Monday (August 7).
A hose reel jet was used to dampen down the scene.
A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “HWFR was called out to a large vehicle on fire near Droitwich at 6.47pm on Monday.
“Two Droitwich Fire Station crews attended land off the A4133 at Westwood, where a small fire in the engine compartment of a combine harvester had been extinguished before arrival.
“They used a hose reel jet to dampen down the scene and left the incident at 7.42pm.”
