LANE closures on major city roads are set to impact traffic for up to four days.
Swinesherd Way at Whittington will have a lane closure in effect for the replacement of the damaged pedestrian guardrail.
According to One.network, lane two heading northbound and lane one heading southbound on the A4440 Swinesherd Way will be affected, with the closures coming at different times.

The first lane heading southbound on Whittington Way and the first lane heading northbound will also be affected.
The work is taking place from outside 83 Whittington Road, to halfway between the County Hall island and the Whittington Road island.

The work is set to be carried out between 9.30am and 3.30pm across the next four days.
