A COACH fire on the motorway required emergency services from Worcestershire to help extinguish the flames.
At 11.30pm yesterday evening (Monday, November 21), a "severe coach fire" on the M42 eastbound between the junction for the M5 and junction one was reported.
Two fire crews from Droitwich and Bromsgrove were deployed, alongisde a water carrier from Evesham.
According to Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service, there were no casualties reported from the fire.

National Highways and West Mercia Police were also at the scene of the fire, installing lane closures in front of the incident while it was safely dealt with.
Traffic was released at approximately 12.31am, but two lanes remained closed to continue making the carriageway safe.
