A BABY who was reported to be unconscious was taken to hospital for treatment.
Emergency Services responded to reports of an unconscious 11 month-old boy in Pelham Road, Droitwich last night (Tuesday).
Ambulance crews and Droitwich First Responders were called out to a property in the town at around 7.50pm.
A spokesperson confirmed the baby was treated there before being taken to hospital.
They said: "Droitwich First Responders received a job from West Midlands Ambulance Services with reports to an unconscious 11-month-old baby.
"Droitwich First Responders was on scene within minutes after being allocated the job.
"Shortly after a West Midlands Ambulance Service double crewed ambulance arrived followed by the Critical Care Team car part of the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.
"The patient was then taken directly into Worcestershire Royal Hospital by the ambulance crew and received further treatment."
West Midlands Ambulance confirmed the callout, with a spokesperson saying: "We were called at 7:48pm to reports of a medical incident at an address in Pelham Road.
"We sent an ambulance, a paramedic officer and Community First Responder.
"We treated a male patient and they were conveyed to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further treatment."
