A KIND-HEARTED youngster donated 22 inches of hair to the Little Princess Trust.
10-year-old Evie Smith from Powick, near Worcester, grew her hair for five years to be able to donate two 11-inch ponytails to the charity which provides wigs for children with cancer.
Dad Kevin Smith said: “We are so proud.
“Evie has wanted to have her hair cut off for charity which she came up with the idea all by herself.
“She has been growing her hair for quite a few years now but wanted to help those that are not as fortunate as she is.
“We have known of quite a few people of late who have been diagnosed with cancer and who have lost their hair as a result of intensive chemotherapy.
“Evie is lucky enough to have hair with a Rapunzel like tendency ever since she was born and therefore we decided to make use of it and give it to other children less fortunate that herself.”
