WEST Mercia Police has been involved with a missing person search.
Volunteers from West Mercia Search and Rescue, a charity that helps find people in danger, were searching throughout yesterday.
It is believed the search is related to missing Leominster man Craig Simpson. The 56-year-old was last seen on March 17, with his car found by the Riverside Inn, Aymestrey.
The charity's twitter account tweeted to say that volunteers were on call.
Sam Bennett tweeted: "I spent a few hours searching with WestMerciaSAR and West Mercia Police. Searches on going."
Another of the volunteers, James, tweeted: "Some of my teammates have been searching all day, so my wife and I are hoping to offer two fresh sets of legs and eyes."
The Worcester News has approached the police for more information.
