YELLOW warnings for snow have been issued as the county is blasted by the Siberian cold weather brought by the 'Beast from the East'.
The Met Office has issued the warnings with heavy snow showers predicted from 11am tomorrow, further snowfall on Tuesday evening and some light snow forecast throughout the rest of the week.
The Met Office is also warning people about the plummeting temperatures that are expected to drop to -5C, and have also issued a yellow warning for strong winds on Thursday, with the 'feels like' temperature only at -10C on Thursday.
The Met Office's warning said: "There is the potential for travel delays with some stranded vehicles and passengers, as well as delays or cancellations to rail and air travel. Some rural communities could become cut off. Power cuts may also occur and other services may be affected."
Some snowflakes fell for a short period earlier today as temperatures fell to freezing. Temperatures are expected to drop to -4C overnight tonight.
Dave Throup, Environment Agency manager for Worcestershire, tweeted: "Warning for cold conditions already issued.
"It’s looking quite extreme."
