FIREFIGHTERS are currently at the scene of a house fire in Droitwich.
A resident described how he had seen several fire engines thundering towards the town centre this morning (January 19).
A spokeswoman for Hereford and Worcester Fire said three crews were sent to deal with the blaze at a house on Corbett Avenue at around 11.20am.
“We are in attendance. The fire was extinguished prior to our arrival. Crews are currently assisting with ventilation.
“They shouldn’t be there much longer. Just ensuring ventilation and checking that everything is okay.”
