PARAMEDICS rushed a man to hospital after he was found unconscious outside a city centre charity shop.
The man, who is thought to be 38-years-old, had collapsed in front of the Cancer Research shop, in The Cross, Worcester.
Members of the public who were concerned about the man's safety called police officers to the scene at around 8.30am today.
Police requested an ambulance at 8.39am and the man has been taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
An eyewitness said: "There's a man who is pretty unstable in the doorway of Cancer Research.
"Two paramedics, two police officers and two PCSOs have just talked him into the ambulance.
"He didn't look badly injured but he had a hoodie on and no shirt underneath - they managed to put a blanket over him but he just kept pacing around the doorway."
