Sergeant Carl Jones of Worcester Safer Neighbourhood Team said: "We have received a number of reports relating to burglaries and vehicle crime in the Astwood Road area in the past 10 days or so.
"Officers, including Special Constables, will be continuing to provide high visibility reassurance patrols throughout the area, and have been conducting house-to-house enquiries as part of ongoing investigations.
"Due to the location of a number of these incidents we are remaining open minded about any possible links and continue to urge members of the community to contact us if they see or hear anything suspicious.
"I would also like to remind people to remain vigilant and take a few simple steps to help prevent opportunistic thieves from targeting their property.
"Never leave anything on show in your car and take belongings with you after you've parked, preferably in a well lit, secure area where possible.
"It is also a good idea to check that all locks on windows, doors and sheds are in good working order and again, try to secure valuable items out of sight wherever possible.
"More information and advice can be found on the Arboretum and Claines SNT webpage (westmercia.police.uk/article/2207/Arboretum-and-Claines)."
Anyone with information on the incidents is asked to call police on 101.
