CREWS have tackled a series of fires in the early hours of this morning and last night, including one involving 100 tonnes of cut trees and bushes.
At 1.40am firefighters from Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service put out a fire involving paper at Sutton Park Road, Kidderminster. They tackled a fire in the open off Jubilee Bridge in Fladbury at 1.18am. At the height of the blaze around 100 tonnes of cut trees and bushes were alight.
The previous evening at 7.42pm crews put out a fire using backpack extinguishers at Segbourne Coppice, Bromsgrove. At 6.26pm they extinguished a fire in an large goods vehicle and van inside an industrial building in Droitwich Road, Kidderminster.
