Firefighters tackle car fire
FIREFIGHTERS have extinguished a car fire.
The vehicle was ‘well alight’ when a fire crew arrived in Ombersley Road, Worcester, this morning.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service received a report about the fire at 4.59am today (May 11).
Police were called to the scene, on the A449, at 5.17am and carried out traffic management.
West Mercia Police confirmed that the incident is not being treated as suspicious.
The firefighters used a hose reel and two breathing apparatus to tackle the blaze.
West Mercia Police also attended the incident.
