THE city's food festival is in full swing today (Saturday) as hundreds of visitors flock to enjoy an array of delicious produce.
A whopping 70 stalls offering a wide variety of locally-produced food and drink line the High Street, while free food tasting sessions are being held outside the Guildhall.
An array of local businesses are hosting stalls are at the Worcester BID-run Worcester Foodie Festival, including the Barbourne Cider Company, La Fleur de Chocolat and Churchfields Farmhouse Ice Cream.
Bruce Thomas, from Holt Heath, was visiting the festival with his wife Liz.
He said: "It is a lovely day. It brings people in, it is nice to have a buzzing, atmospheric city."
Neema Karia, area manager at Wildwood Kitchen, was at the festival handing out free candy floss to passers by.
She said: "It's great to see lots of businesses out here. We are here all weekend."
Jose Goncalves, from Our Taste of Portugal in The Hopmarket, said: "It is going very well - it is a lovely day.
"I'm a pastel de nata lover so I wanted to show everyone how good they are!
"We should have them [a food festival] more than once a year."
Along with all the food and drink available to tantalise your tastebuds, children's activities are also available too.
At the Tourist Information Centre youngsters can enter a sweet-themed colouring competition. Sheets needing to be returned by 4pm on Sunday for the chance to win a goodie bag and a bucket and spade.
The festival continues all weekend, running from 10am to 5.30pm on Saturday and from 11am to 4pm on Sunday.
