THIEVES smashed down doors at the Regal Cinema in Evesham to steal money from collecting boxes.
The raid, which took place in the early hours of Monday morning, was captured on the venue's CCTV.
Footage shows the two criminals breaking down the cinema's doors, before using bolt cutters to get into the box office, where they stole money being collected to fund an extension to the building.
A statement from the cinema said: "We are saddened to announce that two thugs broke into our cinema and stole two of our fourth floor extension fundraising collection boxes containing your generous donations. In addition they destroyed the Regal's original 1932 doors.
"We need your help in identifying them. If you know who these people are please contact us via boxoffice@theregal.ac. Please share this video and help the police in their investigations."
The stolen money was donated by cinema patrons as part of the Regal's appeal to help fund a £600,000 extension. The proposal includes creating two new cinema screens and a fourth-floor bar with panoramic views over the town and the Vale of Evesham.
Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area of the cinema that night is urged to call police on 101, quoting incident number 56s/250716.
