A FIRE crew from Worcester rushed to tackle a car which was ablaze in Vauxhall Street.
The emergency call came in at around 10.30pm on Sunday, and the crew arrived to find the car completely on fire.
It took firefighters half an hour to extinguish the inferno, which is thought to have completely destroyed the car.
The team used one set of breathing apparatus and one hose reel to deal with the fire.
A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said it is not known what caused the fire, and nothing else was damaged as a result of the blaze.
Worcester News reader David James sent in photographs of the fire crew working to put out the car fire.
