A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of child neglect after police were called to a home in Norton last night (Thursday).
The 25-year-old was arrested after concerns were raised for the welfare of three children at just after 9pm.
Police and children's services are now conducting a joint investigation into the incident.
Detective sergeant Sharon Wallace said: "West Mercia Police were made aware of an incident of suspected child neglect at a property in Norton in Worcester.
"We were called just after 9pm after concerns were raised for the welfare of three children at the property.
"Officers attended and a 25 year old man was arrested on suspicion of child neglect.
"Police and children's services are conducting a joint investigation."
Six police cars and four ambulances were seen in the area last night by a Worcester News reader.
West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed it had sent four vehicles to a "medical emergency" at a house in Norton last night.
However, because it is a private address it could not release any further details.
