ONE casualty had to be treated by ambulance crews after a carbon monoxide leak at a house in Westmancote, near Bredon.
Three people were in the property when the carbon monoxide alarm went off shortly after 9.30pm on Monday.
Fire crews from Pershore and Upton were sent out and used two sets of breathing apparatus and a gas monitor to check the premises.
The property was ventilated and the gas supply was isolated by fire service personnel.
Householders are recommended to install detectors in any room that has a fuel-burning heater or cooker, and regularly test it to make sure it is working.
