IT TOOK two fire crews two-and-a-half hours to tackle a blaze at a large tractor near Droitwich.
Just after midnight yesterday morning (Thursday) firefighters from Droitwich rushed to the scene in Clattercut Lane, Cutnall Green, to find the vehicle fully alight.
A total of 4,000 litres of water and foam were used during the operation, however the cause of the fire is unknown.
Andrew Birch, Green Watch Commander at Droitwich Fire Station, said: "When we got there it was all on fire, there was no way of knowing if it started at the front or the back.
"There was nothing around it, no power lines, no other bonfires, there was nothing that could even catch it. We couldn't work out what it could possibly be."
The vehicle's owner is aware of the incident and is thought to have reported it to the police.
However, a spokesperson for West Mercia Police said it could not find a report of the fire.
