FIREFIGHTERS tackled a blaze which broke out in the engine compartment of a car parked in Evesham.
The car, which was parked for around half an hour before the fire started, was 80 per cent damaged, while a second vehicle was also burned.
A crew from Evesham Fire Station was called just after 10am this morning (Monday) to the incident in Woodland Piece.
It took two officers using breathing apparatus and a hose reel half an hour to extinguish the fire.
The incident is not being treated as arson.
Richard Young, crew commander, said: "We think it is just a fault with the car."
