MALVERN police officers have been informed that the substance that turned a Malvern Pond green is used to identify drainage problems.
The substance, known as fluorescein dye is said to have caused no harm to local wildlife.
The Environment Agency were earlier informed about the incident affecting Moat Pond, off Madresfield Road, and so were Malvern Hills Conservators, which is thought to own the site.
