SEVERAL roads have reopened in Worcestershire after yesterday's flash floods devastated the county.

Roads in Malvern, Worcester and Droitwich were reopened last night and this morning- Upton's Hanley Road has remained open too, though the flood gates at New Street were closed around 5pm last night.

Broadway Grove, in St John's, the B4208 at Castlemorton, near Malvern are passable.

In the Droitwich area Crown Lane, Westwood Road, Ford Lane and Briars Mills Road are all now open, too.

Swan Lane, in Upton Warren, is now open also.

According to the Met Office, Worcester should stay dry today but temperatures are expected to stay low with the warmest peak reaching around nine degrees.

There's not much chance of bright sunshine today, either.

Despite the roads reopening, a number remain closed.

Jubilee Bridge, in Fladbury, and Eckington Bridge both remain closed due to the floods.

Long Lane, in Pinvin, is closed still too.

Waterside in Evesham is closed between Cheltenham Road and Port Street.

A man had to be rescued from flood water in Eckington this morning.

His vehicle was left in the water at Eckington Bridge after he was rescued at 7.06am this morning.

The bridge remains closed.

Two hours later, a male driver and his son were rescued from a 4x4 after getting stuck in floodwater in Waterside, near Evesham.
