A LARGE family pub in Evesham has re-opened after being closed for nearly a month to be converted into a local Hungry Horse venue.
The Strawberry Fields pub on the Four Pools Industrial Estate underwent the transformation after pub retailer and brewer Greene King acquired the Spirit Pub Company.
The pub now has a new bright interior and walls featuring aspects of the local area such as the River Avon and market gardening. There are also comfortable leather booths with their own TV sets, making them ideal for families want to keep their children entertained while they have a meal.
Diane and Steve Sims, who have managed the Strawberry Fields for more than 15 years, said: “We are pleased to have joined the Hungry Horse family. The pub looks really bright and fresh and the team is looking forward to welcoming everyone into the new-look Strawberry Fields and beginning our new chapter.”
Mar McGuigan, business unit director for Hungry Horse added: “At Hungry Horse we pride ourselves in creating welcoming atmospheres and offering big value and unrivalled choice for all of the family. It is also important for us to be part of the local community and I am confident the Strawberry Field’s customers, both old and new, will embrace change of brand.”
