TWO men have now been charged in connection with being concerned in the supply of class A drugs after £40,000 of cocaine and a substantial amount of cash was found in the back of a car in Worcester.
Christopher Cornes and Marcus Henney both from Worcester appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court today (Friday).
Cornes has been charged with possession of class A drugs with intent to supply and money laundering and was remanded in custody.
Henney was charged with possession of class A drugs with intent to supply.
A Ford Focus was stopped in Copenhagen Street in Worcester at around 7.15pm on Wednesday and two men, aged 28 and 45 were arrested.
Detective Inspector Stuart Murphy of West Mercia Police said he could not disclose the amount of cash confiscated as part of ongoing enquiries but said it was 'potentially thousands of pounds'.
