A BOOK has been launched which aims to promote a variety of businesses in Worcester city centre.
Titled Uniquely Yours, the book which was produced by Worcester BID, features 151 small sectors from across the region.
Nicki Williams, Chairman of the Worcester BID Board of Directors, said “The Uniquely Yours book is a celebration of what Worcester’s independent businesses can offer and we hope that people will take pleasure reading through our debut production and be inspired to pop in to those that have taken part.”
The book also includes tips and interviews with local people, as well as a useful business directory of over 550 BID businesses.
It forms part of the ‘Uniquely Worcester’ campaign, which was started by the Worcester Business Improvement District (BID) in 2010.
The campaign aims to promote the diversity and quality of Worcester’s independent businesses and boost trade in the city centre.
Head of Worcester BID, Adrian Field said: "The Uniquely Yours book has been written in a way that it will be a useful read all year round.
"By bringing the businesses together it just shows how lucky we are as the ratio of independent to multiple businesses is something that many other cities would love to have."
This free book will be available from participating independent businesses across the city centre from this week.
