HOMEOWNERS in Worcester are being encouraged to submit their entries to a competition looking to find Britain's worst view.

Online blind retailer DirectBlinds.co.uk is looking for those not lucky enough to wake up to the Malvern Hills, Gheluvelt Park or Croome Park.

The firm says entries can include a messy neighbour’s garden, an unattractive block of flats, graffiti or even a motorway.

“We often have customers coming to us looking for a blind to cover up a particular blot on the landscape that ruins the view from their home," said Nicolas Swift, joint managing director of DirectBlinds.co.uk

“This is the perfect opportunity for those who are gazing at an eyesore to step forward and send us their photos to be in with a chance of winning.”

Photos can be sent to @DirectBlinds via Twitter, the company's Facebook page or by emailing worstview@directblinds.co.uk
