FOURTEEN new jobs are to be created in Malvern when multi-channel trade retailer Screwfix opens its first store in the town.
Due to launch on Thursday, August 13, the outlet on Enigma Business Park in Betony Road is part of the company’s ongoing national expansion plans.
Store manager Adrian Saunders said: "We’ve created 14 brand new vacancies and have employed local people from around the Great Malvern area. Our new team includes people of all ages and levels of experience, but the most important requirement is that they have the right attitude and can offer superb customer service. Everyone here is really looking forward to the store opening.”
Tradesmen and DIYers attending the opening can demonstrate their professional skills in a free-to-enter screw drilling competition. The fastest time wins a 40in Toshiba smart TV.
