WORCESTERSHIRE child- care business the Little Gre-en Sheep has turned out to be top of the flocks.
The company, from Stock-wood, near Inkberrow, won best organic/natural brand at the Nursery Industry awards at the Royal Garden Hotel in London.
Its new bedside crib, the SnüzPod, was also highly commended in the best new product category.
Company co-founder Mark Nicholls said: “It was certainly a very successful night and we were delighted to have been recognised in two different categories.
“We are over the moon to have won best organic brand. “It was a real honour to be recognised in such a hotly contested category.
“We’d like to thank everyone who voted for us and hope that more and more families will become aware of the benefits organic and sustainable products offer.”
Since its launch in 2006, the Little Green Sheep has gone from strength to strength.
Initially the team started out making natural, chemical-free mattresses, but now it has a complete collection of bedtime products for young families.
