CONSERVATIVE candidate Karen Tomalin romped to victory in the Droitwich East by-election.
She claimed 495 votes leaving Labour, UKIP and the Liberal Democrats hopefuls trailing with 175, 171 and 108 votes respectively.
The Wychavon District Council by-election was triggered by the death of councillor Glenise Noyes.
Turnout was 950, representing 22 per cent of the electorate.
