ONE hundred bales of straw have been alight in Low Habberley, near Kidderminster, for almost 19 hours.
Firefighters were alerted to the blaze at 5.20pm yesterday and, despite tackling the flames all night, have still not been able to extinguish the fire.
Six fire engines have attended the incident on rural land off the Habberley to Trimpley road, including crews from Stourport, Kidderminster and Worcester.
An incident support vehicle, an off-road vehicle and a water carrier have also been present.
The cause of the fire, which engulfed the one-tonne bales, is currently unknown.
