ONE northbound lane of an exit slip road the M5 is closed following a van fire this morning.
Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service was called to the blaze just after 8am to the exit sliproad at Junction 6 A449 / A4440 Warndon Way / A4538 Pershore Lane (Worcester).
Two crews from Worcester attended and found the fire in a van carrying cylinders.
Speed restrictions were in place on the approach to the slip road, which was fully closed, but lane two is now running again.
