BATH Rugby's Ted Hill looks to be nearing a return to action after almost five months out with an upper-leg injury suffered at the start of the season.
The former Worcester Warriors captain came off in the 34-26 win over Newcastle Falcons at The Rec back in October 2023 and has been out ever since.
24-year-old Hill had been in fine form with the Blue, Black and Whites since joining the club in 2022 following the demise of Warriors. He won Forward of the Year at Bath's end-of-season awards at the end of 2022/23 and was involved in England's Rugby World Cup training squad last summer, but was not named in the final group for France.
As a result, Hill was able to start the delayed 2023/24 campaign with Bath, but was ruled out for a "number of months" after picking up the injury in the Premiership curtain raiser with Falcons.
But in the last couple of days, he has posted on Instagram a video of him back in training and the hope is that he will soon return to action, where he will be keen to pick up where he left off from last season.
Hill will have his eyes on a place in the England squad for the upcoming summer tour to New Zealand, where Steve Borthwick's side will play two tests against the All Blacks after a test in Tokyo with Japan.
