ARMED police were called to a street in Ronkswood following reports of concern for a man's safety.
A man was arrested in Lincoln Green and taken into custody after concerned people called police on Sunday (May 5)afternoon.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: “We were called at around 12pm to an address on Lincoln Green in Worcester following reports of a concern for safety.
“No injuries were reported and one man was arrested. This was an isolated incident and there is not believed to be any further threat to the wider public.”
A neighbour said that there were at least two fire engines, two police cars, an ambulance and another fire vehicle, adding that she had never seen so many emergency vehicles in one place.
A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: "We were called to help police with an ongoing operation.
"Two fire engines and two fire vehicles attended."
The man was taken away in an ambulance.
