A rare Royal Mint 50p coin has sold on eBay for a whopping sum of £400.
The item is a listen on eBay for 800x its face value.
It is a 2018 Paddington Bear at Buckingham Palace 50 pence piece.
And there are two available.
The coin was issued by The Royal Mint to celebrate the iconic 60th anniversary of the British bear.
It was the first time that Paddington Bear had ever featured on official UK coinage.
Other sellers have listed the same coin on eBay for as much as £5,000.00.
It comes after the Warrington Guardian reported last week that a Warrington resident was selling a rare 50p coin for a sizeable profit.
This was an offside 50 pence coin which is considered to be the rarest coin of the 29 that were issued in 2011 to commemorate the 2021 Olympics.
It was listed on the online market place for £23, with a postage fee of £2.70.
