A nursery group has recruited a marketing agency following the launch of its new site in Droitwich.

Happy Days Nurseries has chosen EDGE Creative with the aim of growing the business with a new website to improve the nursery location search function, provide an information portal for parents, a full brand review and a new logo.

The new nursery on Woodland Way is one of 24 Happy Days sites across Wales, the Midlands, and South West, providing daycare for ages three months to five years.

Karen D'Aguilar, head of sales and marketing at Happy Days, said: "We chose EDGE Creative because of their experience working with national and international education and care sector businesses, so we knew they would have a strong understanding of our objectives and were best placed to help us achieve our wider business growth plans.

"When parents are looking for the right nursery for their pre-school children, they want to not only quickly find what they are looking for in their chosen area, but also to understand the ethos of that particular nursery and details about its educational programme."

The new website and revamped brand aim to reflect the group's 'Where Children Shine' curriculum, aligning with the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework along with the Curriculum for Wales.

EDGE also gave the marketing team content management system and analytics training, offering digital marketing masterclasses to bridge the skills gap.

EDGE Creative's founder and director, Louise Pinnington, said: "We were delighted to win the pitch to help Happy Days achieve its business growth goals."

The Droitwich-based nursery is part of Happy Days' larger growth plan, which intends to expand to 50 nursery sites within the next three to five years.

In 2023, 54 new jobs were provided in newly launched nursery sites.

18 new employees have been hired so far this year, with another 22 job opportunities expected.
