A hand car wash business could start trading on an old petrol station forecourt in Hylton Road.
Plans for the business, which would also provide a valeting service, have been submitted to Worcester City Council.
Planning documents list the intended trading hours as being Monday-Friday 8.30am to 6pm, Saturday 8.30am to 5pm and Sunday 10am to 4pm.
It is proposed that eight members of staff will be employed at the business.
According to planning history of the site including with the application, the last occupier of the site was Avis Car Rental.
Documents also show that plans to demolish the petrol station building and canopy to make way for a restaurant were refused in 1996 for a number of reasons including flooding concerns.
