Sergeant Liam Bennet, who is leading the investigation, said at the time: “This is a tragic incident and our thoughts are with the family of the lady who has died.

Laura Monk who works at Parsons Bakery in Church Street described hearing a thump and saw the aftermath of the crash.
"I thought something had fallen over and I came running out. There was an old lady lying here on the pavement, one of our customers who is 88," she said.
The car had knocked over the boards outside Get Connected (the mobile phone shop) and hit the boards outside the bakery.
She described how an off-duty nurse from Oxford, who was on holiday in Malvern, helped the casualties and said a colleague held a woman's hand after she had been injured.

Cllr Nielsen said: "I would like to send my condolences to the family of the lady who very sadly passed away and my best wishes to all those involved and especially the two others who I understand remain in hospital."
